Shih Tzu puppies for sale
The Shih Tzu is a toy-sized companion with a long double coat, and the breed standard accepts every color. The Shih Tzu puppies listed now come from Teapup, Double YY Puppies and Cuddly Family Companions.
- Small. Grown Shih Tzus stand 9 to 10.5 inches and weigh 9 to 16 pounds.
- Barely sheds. AKC scores shedding 1 of 5, but grooming scores 4, so the long coat needs frequent brushing.
- Good with families. AKC rates the Shih Tzu 5 of 5 with young children.
- Long life. Shih Tzus can live 10 to 18 years, and AKC notes they handle heat poorly.
