English Bulldog puppies for sale

The English Bulldog, registered with AKC as the Bulldog, is a low, heavy, short-faced dog that AKC scores low for barking. The English Bulldog puppies listed now come from Gold Paw Canine, Rocky Top Bulldogs and Pine Creek Bulldogs.

• Heavy build. Bulldogs stand 14 to 15 inches, and AKC lists about 50 pounds for a male and 40 for a female.
• Moderate shedding. The short, smooth coat scores 3 of 5 on AKC's shedding scale.
• Heat sensitive. A Bulldog must not overheat, so keep shade and water handy and never leave it in a closed car.
• Shorter life. Expect 8 to 10 years, and ask whether the parents had the club's knee, heart and windpipe checks.
