About
About Puppy Connection
A directory of small family dog breeders, based in northern Indiana and growing across the Midwest. We serve families from South Bend, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and Columbus to Chicago and Detroit.
Because they're more than just precious paws and puppy breath. They're family.
Our story
Puppy Connection was built on the belief that dedicated breeders deserve more than a simple classified listing. That vision has grown beyond puppy listings into a resource designed to help families make informed decisions and help breeders build stronger connections with the people they serve.
For years, we've had the privilege of getting to know breeders who pour their hearts into raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. We've also spoken with countless families who weren't just searching for a puppy. They were searching for confidence, transparency, and someone they could trust.
As the dog world continues to evolve, we recognized an opportunity to better serve both breeders and puppy buyers.
Today, Puppy Connection is a dedicated listing and connection service, as well as a growing resource for breeders and puppy buyers alike. Rather than acting as an intermediary in the purchasing process, we focus on giving breeders the tools to professionally present their programs while helping families find breeders whose values and goals align with their own.
Every breeder featured on Puppy Connection operates independently, and every relationship begins directly between the breeder and the family.
What we ask of the breeders who list here
We look for breeders who genuinely love their dogs, prioritize health and temperament, and take pride in raising puppies that are well-prepared for loving homes. We value breeders who continually learn, work with their veterinarians, and give their puppies the care, socialization, and attention they need to become wonderful companions. Above all, we want to work with people who see their dogs as family and share our heart for connecting those puppies with families who will love them for a lifetime.
- Health testing information where they have it
- Registration details
- Clear, honest photographs of the actual puppy
- Accurate dates and pricing
- Ongoing support for the families who buy from them
Puppy Connection lists puppies and does not sell them, so the sale, the paperwork and the conversation are between you and the breeder.
