Q: How long is a typical video call? A: 10–15 minutes. That’s enough to meet the breeder, see the puppies and parents, and ask questions. Q: Can I bring my kids/guests to an in-person visit? A: Yes, with prior approval. We ask that visitors follow breeder guidelines for safety and hygiene. Q: What if I can’t make the scheduled time? A: Use the calendar link in your confirmation email or simply send us a text to reschedule up to 2 hours before the appointment
Step 1 — Schedule a Visit or Video Call
Meet the puppies — in person or online. We recommend a live video call for first-time buyers.
What happens:

Family chooses a puppy (or puppies) and clicks “Schedule Visit / Video Call”.

A Puppy Connection Team Member will coordinate a time that works for everyone.

For video calls we recommend: 10–15 minutes for introductions, ask/answer questions, and watch the puppies play and interact.

For in-person visits, we can arrange a meeting either at the breeder's home, or at a convenient location for both parties. Breeder, buyer, and puppy safety and comfortability is of utmost concern.

Q: Is the deposit refundable? A: Deposits are refundable under specific conditions (breeder cancellation or serious vet findings). See the deposit policy for full details. Q: Why do you require a deposit? A: Deposits reduce no-shows, protect breeders from last-minute cancellations, and indicate buyer commitment. Q: Can I change the puppy I reserved? A: Yes — contact us. Transfers between litters or siblings are permitted depending on timing and breeder approval.
Step 2 — Deposit/Reservation
Reserve your chosen puppy with a secure deposit — we hold the puppy for you while final checks are completed.
What happens:

Rest easy knowing that your chosen puppy is reserved just for you!

A deposit of $500 secures the puppy and allows us to proceed with travel or pick-up arrangements.

Deposits are processed securely on our website through Paypal, credit card, or Venmo.

Once deposit is received, the buyer gets a receipt and an estimated timeline for the go-home date.
Deposit policy​
Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable, except in the event of a grave health concern.
Transferability: Deposits are transferable to another puppy from the same breeder if mutually agreed.

Step 3 — Arrange Delivery or Meet Up
Convenient, safe delivery or local pickup
Options available:

Local pickup: Buyer picks up the puppy from the breeder per scheduled appointment. We provide a checklist to ensure smooth handoff.

Transport via Furry Freight: They run scheduled routes and provide temperature-controlled crates, documentation, and photo checks at handoff.

Special Delivery: This option is available to anyone who wants to get their puppy in between the regular routes. This option provides hand-delivery of your puppy by a puppy chaperone, meaning they get specialized attention throughout the travel (additional fees apply).

Microchip ID and registration forms (if applicable to your puppy)

A written care sheet and breeder’s contact details for follow-ups

Q: How long does delivery take? A: It depends on the route. We provide estimated windows and real-time tracking when available. Typical routes run every 2 weeks to the East Coast and South. Q: What if the puppy gets stressed on the trip? A: The drivers are trained to monitor puppies, ensuring their comfort during the entire trip. We also provide a care protocol to the buyer upon arrival. Any signs of prolonged distress prompt a vet check. Q: Do you ship puppies in cargo on planes? A: We avoid cargo travel for young puppies. If air travel is required, we prefer to use vetted flight nannies and direct flights only — this is arranged case-by-case and involves additional screening and fees.

We don’t disappear after delivery — we offer lifetime support to ensure a happy match.

We LOVE getting updates! Send all your cute, funny, and downright adorable photos and videos our way.

Return / rehoming assistance if life circumstances change (we offer to help rehome or take the puppy back in limited circumstances)

Q: What support is available for behavior problems? A: We provide general guidance and can recommend trainers or behaviorists. For complex issues, we can help refer to experts. Q: What if the puppy has a health issue after we take them home? A: If a serious health issue arises within the guarantee period, submit a claim with vet records and photos. We’ll review and work with the breeder on remedies, refunds, or replacement per policy. Q: How do I register my puppy’s microchip/transfer ownership? A: The breeder provides step-by-step instructions and forms at pickup/delivery. If you need help, our team can offer assistance in completing the transfer.
